West End Singer Alice Ellen Wright
This is Talk about music. I’m STEVE SAHL-TAYLOR and in this latest episode I’ll be speaking to West End singer Alice Ellen Wright.
Alice talks about her time studying at the Brit school, her big break in Les Miserable in the West End and her many other roles including a recent gig duetting with Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge. Lets get started on TALK ABOUT MUSIC.
Steve Sahl-Taylor has nearly 40 years experience as a musician, singer and songwriter. He started singing in bands in South Wales when he was 16 before taking long term residencies in Spain and Croatia. On returning to the UK he moved to Devon in South West England. Here he started writing songs for his first album. The album Hello World was signed to US label ACM Records and was released in 2006.
He continued touring throughout Europe with 12 tours to Scandinavia and many gigs in London and South East England.
He still writes songs, does the occasional gig and is a music teacher. He is based in London.
